KU Leuven Research & Development (LRD), in close cooperation with the city of Leuven, has created a favourable business climate for high-tech entrepreneurship. In particular, LRD is an active partner in setting up a number of networking initiatives and technology clusters, as well as in planning, setting up and exploitating incubators, science parks and business centres in the Leuven region. Leuven is also a great city to live in.
